  1. Use the oils that smell best for you, aromatherapy is supposed to be a pleasure.
  2. When preparing the mixture, do not mix more than 5 essential oils.
  3. Do not take essential oils by mouth.
  4. Do not apply undiluted oils directly on the skin. Use natural carrier oils for massage (e.g. jojoba, olive oil, avocado)
  5. Before starting an aromatherapy treatment, do an allergy test. Dissolve a drop of essential oil in a tablespoon of vegetable oil and rub it behind the ear, on the breastbone or on the forearm where you check the pulse. If no redness, erythema, blemishes, irritation or itching appear within 12 hours, it means that you can use the given oil.
  6. During an aromatherapy bath, do not wash your body with foaming liquids, the chemical compounds contained in them may react negatively with the oil.
  7. It should be used with caution in young children, people prone to allergies and pregnant women.
  8. Avoid exposing the skin to UV rays (in the case of citrus oils).
  9. Use essential oils with conviction of their healing properties, enjoying a wide variety of fragrances and uses.
